For hundreds of thousands of children September 2022 will be an exciting month as many children will be joining the schools for the first time, from nursery schools to those leaving nursery schools to join primary schools as well as those leaving primary schools to join secondary schools.

However, the first thing that will come to the parents mind is “What school uniforms do I need to buy for back to school?” These range from Trousers, Shorts, Pinafores, Jumpers, Blazers, Shoes, PE wear, school bags, Backpack, Swimwear etc. For parents the first point of contact should be the school website which will give you all the lists of items that you need to buy for your child’s first day of school. The school website will also recommend local stockists in the area. However, with the high increase in the cost of living recently, parents will have to be innovative and visit their local charity shops, online marketplaces, or local free and exchange groups such as Facebook and local recycle groups as many parents sell their old children’s uniforms cheaply or give it away for free.
